LOS ANGELES - Alison Brie is going to Netflix.
The Community and Mad Men continues to be tapped to star in the new Jenji Kohan humor sequence G.L.O.W.
The 10 episode series, mounted in Los Angeles, is influenced from the real story of the 1980's woman's wrestling league.
Brie, who lately starred in How to Be Single, is going to play Ruth, a struggling actress whose hopes for fame make a surprising turn when she's forced in to the glitter and spandex realm of females wrestling.
Kohan and Tara Herrmann, each behind Netflix's hit Orange is the New Black, work as exec producers.
The series was co-created by Liz Flahive (Homeland) as well as Carly Mensch (Orange is the New Black), who work as show-runners.
